The E+E air velocity sensors are hot film anemometers with a standard operation range of
0...20 m/s and -30...200 °C.
Sensor construction
(dimensions between 2 x 12 mm to 0.6 x 8mm)
Hot film anemometers have a construction similar to standard thin film temperature sensors:
active layer, protection layer, connection layer
The main difference is the material of the substrate. In order to achieve the required properties the E+E air velocity
sensor is placed on thin glass substrate (0.15 mm).
