selection of the correct instrumentation to accompany a
flow meter is critical. Many flow metering applications
are compromised by the incorrect specification of the
control or process indication. The chart shows the basic
functions of the standard instruments but are not
complete. We recommend to review the data sheet in
details. In all cases the instrument and the flowmeter
will be calibrated for the application using the flow
parameters provided. In some cases the indicator /
converter may be mounted directly on the flow sensor and
be self contained with no external power required.
